Cobb County Honors Valedictorians and Salutatorians of 2024

As the school year concludes, the Cobb County School District has recognized its top-performing students for the Class of 2024. These exceptional scholars have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, with valedictorians boasting an average GPA of 4.697 and salutatorians an impressive 4.659.

Among the honorees, Allatoona High School’s Brayden Smith and Mary Chamberlain will both attend Georgia Institute of Technology, while Campbell High School’s top graduates, Brandon Buchalter and Elina Natu, are headed to Vanderbilt University and Emory University, respectively. Cobb Horizon High School’s Lexi Latham-Drain and Andrew Mena also stand out, with Mena choosing Kennesaw State University for Nursing. The district’s graduates are set to attend prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins University, MIT, Yale, and Howard University, pursuing diverse fields from biomedical engineering to public policy.
