The U.S. Senate on Sunday gave final approval to a historic climate and health care package following months of negotiations. Every single Senate Republican voted against it.
With less than a few months until the midterm elections, Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, who is now campaigning for a full term after winning a runoff election last year, is calling the bluff on his Republican Senate challenger Herschel Walker for refusing any public debates before the election in November.
Earlier this July, Herschel Walker, a Republican candidate for Senator in Georgia, claimed that the U.S. is cleaning Chinese air pollution.
The Senate bill passed on Tuesday would expand health care coverage for more than 3.5 million veterans.
